The Duchess of Sussex has been laying low lately as she happily coasts toward her third trimester of pregnancy, but fans got a glimpse of her blossoming bump last night - and it's clearly popped! The royal stepped out with her husband, Prince Harry, on Tuesday evening (Dec. 4) for a private charity carol service benefitting the Henry Van Straubenzee Memorial Fund, started in honour of his late friend.
The couple mingled with some of the duke's closes pals and Meghan read a poem by Marianne Williamson called Our Greatest Fear, clad in a figure-hugging navy dress and one of her favourite matching coats by Canadian label Mackage. As the two were spotted leaving the service, the 37-year-old seemed to take a page out of Duchess Kate's styling book by shopping for a topper in her own closet.
The mom-to-be publicly debuted the navy coat on her first official royal outing in Nottingham. The couple had just announced their engagement and she styled the outerwear with a black turtleneck, beige fit-and-flare skirt and slouchy black boots. At last night's festive fundraiser, the former actress wore the coat with a dress believed to be by Seraphine, a favourite maternity label of her sister-in-law, a her signature messy bun with loose tendrils.
But her best accessory was surely her baby bump! Fans have loved watching the duchess's pregnancy progress, from the sweet early moments when the first-time mom cradled her bump while on tour with Prince Harry to her sequinned black-tie outing to the Royal Variety Performance a few weeks back. But the latest glimpse shows that Baby Sussex, who is believed to be arriving in March or April of 2019, has grown quite a bit in the last few weeks!
Duchess Kate is surely filled with tips and advice for her pregnant sister-in-law, especially before Meghan and Harry move to Windsor early next year to set up their first family home at Frogmore Cottage. The mother of three recently shared her excitement that the family is welcoming a new member while talking to the public at Leicester University. "It's such a special time to have little kiddies. And now a cousin for George, Charlotte and Louis as well! It's really, really special."
The royal women will have another opportunity to show off their savvy for stunning outerwear in a few weeks when the Royal Family gathers at Sandringham for Christmas with the Queen. It's been confirmed that, despite reports of the Cambridges spending the holidays at Bucklebury with Kate's family, they'll be in Norfolk after all. Last year marked Kate and Meghan's first joint outing as they curtsied to Her Majesty in beautiful Christmas coats, and fans will surely be thrilled to catch another glimpse of the former Suits star's sweet bump.
