Meghan laps up the canine cuddles while visiting her patronage Mayhew: All the photos

And they call it puppy love! For the Duchess of Sussex's third official outing of the year, she paid a particularly adorable visit to one of her patronages, Mayhew. Wearing her heart on her sleeve, she showed her dedication to animal welfare while visiting some of the cute pups and chatting with staff, volunteers and beneficiaries about just how much Mayhew gives back to the community's dogs, cats and people.
The royal mom-to-be stunned in a monochromatic cream ensemble for the occasion, pairing a figure-hugging mini dress with a chic coat and slingback pumps – and she didn't seem at all concerned about dirty paws!

Duchess Meghan perfectly mixed high- and low-end designers to create the chicest maternity look. Slipping into her H&M bump-hugging Mama Fine-Knit Dress, topped off with a cream cashmere coat by Emporio Armani and accessorized with a pair of sling-back Manolo Blahnik 'Allura 105' pumps.

The duchess wore her beautiful raven locks down, a stark contrast to her cream outfit! At her previous engagement with Prince Harry, visiting Birkenhead for the opening of a new charitable café and supermarket, Meghan revealed that she is six month's pregnant and due at the end of April.

On top of her natural pregnancy glow, the mom-to-be wore her usual bronzed skin with a smoky eye and peachy lip as she greeted the organization's canine cuties.

The duchess just couldn't help but sneak a pet of this adorable pup, Roobarb, while meeting TheraPaws volunteer Claire Godwin. The animal therapy program works to improve wellbeing in their local community, including retirement homes.

This organization is very much in line with the 37-year-old's personal beliefs. Meghan currently has two adopted dogs in London, beagle Guy who she brought from Toronto and her new labrador with Prince Harry, as well as labrador-shepherd mix Bogart who stayed behind in Canada (and Ellen DeGeneres convinced her to adopt!).

Meghan was positively glowing while meeting Mayhew ex-resident Maggie (previously known as Truffle) and her new owner Emma. The Jack Russell puppy was rescued from a suspected puppy farm in October last year.

Meghan made it her mission to learn more about The Mayhew's International programs in Afghanistan, Georgia, Russia and India with Dr. Mo. Last year, Mayhew neutered 12,109 cats and dogs overseas.
Meghan absolutely fell in love with the little Jack Russel, Minnie, and admittedly wanted to take her home: "We can’t take another dog before the baby as our hands are too full," she said.
