It’s safe to say that nothing comes before Duchess Kate’s family. And as such, most of the causes close to her heart play into her maternal side! The mother of three – to cuties Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – will spend her next royal outing on Jan. 22 with charity Family Action.
The noble organization supports parents and caregivers by providing a service called FamilyLine – a family help line that connects parents in need to volunteers who can help and which Kate will help launch on Tuesday. Like anyone else, even a duchess needs help with parenting woes at times, so there’s no doubt Kate sees the incredible value in a service like this one.
Aside from providing immediate help through the helpline, Family Action provides the charity’s beneficiaries with parenting sessions run by counsellors. On top of helping to launch the service, the 37-year-old will be commemorating the organization’s 150 th year of positively impacting the lives of vulnerable children and their families. What a worthy cause for celebration!
Just before stepping out in purple for some artsy fun at the Royal Opera House, the Duchess of Cambridge wore her heart on her sleeve for her first official outing of the New Year. Sporting a perfectly casual olive-green outfit, the brunette beauty made a visit to King Henry’s Walk Garden to make some homemade pizzas and build birdhouses with a gaggle of adorable kiddos.
Though her two eldest children were at school and couldn’t make it to the outing, they surely weren’t far from her thoughts. One child sweetly asked where they were, and Kate responded: "They would love to come and do this with you. They will be very sad that I've been out here making pizzas with all of you and they haven't been here. They are in school. George is at a school called Thomas's. He's learning about space.”
