The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will show off their paternal sides on a day out in Bristol next week! Following two back-to-back outings for pregnant Meghan, her husband, Prince Harry, will join her in visiting two wonderful charities in the south-western city on Friday to ring in the month of February.
Combining their mutual interests in athletics, the arts and youth empowerment, Prince Harry and Meghan are set to stop by both the recently renovated Bristol Old Vic theatre and Empire Fighting Chance. But first, the parents-to-be will take part in a walkabout and will likely be generous with their time while greeting Bristol locals for some Kodak and hopefully a few baby chats!
First built back in 1766, the Bristol Old Vic theatre is steeped in culture and history! With the help of public funding, the venue invests in supporting experimentation and innovation by financially supporting people who would not be able to afford taking part in their programs otherwise. As theatre fanatics – Meghan and Harry attended Hamilton twice together! – it’s no surprise that they want to pay a visit here.
Following their artsy outing, the Sussexes will head to Empire Fighting Chance, a boxing club that aims to empower young people by teaching them the fundamentals of boxing. They offer one-on-one mentoring and classes to help instill important values – like discipline, respect, self-control, identity and a feeling of belonging and pride – in young people.
The last time Prince Harry and Meghan stepped out together was to enjoy an evening of Cirque du Soleil at the Royal Albert Hall, where the duchess dazzled in a glittery gown by her designer friend Roland Mouret. Just before that, they made a more casual appearance at Birkenhead to visit Tomororw’s Women Wirral and the Wirral Youth Zone.
