The Duchess of Sussex is well known for her impeccable sense of style, ranging from ripped jeans and loose blouses to the most glamorous of gowns by pals like Roland Mouret and Clare Waight Keller. There's no doubt that her royal baby – whether it be a boy or girl – will be equally stylish as its mom. And while the pregnant royal was living it up in New York City for her baby shower on Feb. 19, her loyal followers caught a glimpse of where she may be shopping for designer baby goods!
A source revealed to Us Weekly that they spotted the Suits alum in Manhattan on Feb. 16, enjoying the company of her friend at hot lunch spot and bakery Ladurée before stopping by the high-end children's clothing boutique, BONPOINT. Excitingly, the store just announced that it'll be opening its first Canadian location in Vancouver.
The sweet shop is chock full of adorable baby clothing with an European edge, from cute floral-printed skirts and pants to panama hats (one of Duchess Meghan's favourites!), little summer sandals, blouses and cardigans. It seems like the perfect store for Meghan to pick clothes out for her soon-to-arrive little one!
Duchess Meghan hopped across the pond for one of her two baby showers in the Big Apple. The pregnant royal was likely over-the-moon to be soaking up her last bits of freedom with some of her closest friends before welcoming Baby Sussex in the spring.
Page Six reported that the shower will happen at a hotel on the Upper East Side, and that it was planned almost entirely by Meghan’s best friend and Canadian stylist, Jessica Mulroney. Omid also told Good Morning America that the event will have an A-list guest list, with Sarah Rafferty, Serena Williams, Priyanka Chopra and more expected to make the trip.
“Today's baby shower is a reunion of sorts for Meghan," he said. "[Guests] include best pal Jessica Mulroney, actress and close pal Abigail Spencer has flown in and Priyanka Chopra is supposed to be flying in especially for this from London Fashion Week." Her mom Doria Ragland is also expected to attend.
A source revealed to Harper's Bazaar that the mom-to-be was expected to spend five nights in the city. “The trip is a lovely chance to catch up with friends and spend time in a city she loves,” the source told the publication. "This will be the last time a lot of them will see Meg until after the baby is born so it’s nice to share precious moments."
