Prince Harry has always had a sense of humour, so it was sweet to see him getting a laugh out of Duchess Meghanon their recent trip to Morocco! When the 37-year-old mom-to-be was congratulated on her pregnancy by a teacher at the country's NGO "Education For All" boarding house, the prince jokingly asked: “Wait, you're pregnant?" To which Megan replied: "Surprise!" But the real punchline came with his response. Cracking a smile, the prince asked: "It is mine!?" The moment had everyone at the event in stitches!
It was one of many candid and intimate moments that the pair shared while touring the North African nation earlier this week. They cuddled up to one another while visiting a stable to learn about horse therapy for disabled children and smiled at one another as they learned to cook some traditional Moroccan recipes. They also held hands while exploring the country's capital, Rabat. Of course, royal watchers always delight in watching the parents-to-be bond.
The trip, which wrapped on Monday (Feb. 25), is widely believed to be the last international engagement for the couple before the arrival of their first child in the spring. They will still be seen at London-based events – their next being a reception on March 5 honouring the 50th anniversary of Prince Charles' investiture – when he formally became the Prince of Wales. It will be the couple's first appearance alongside the Duke and Duchess of Cambridgesince Christmas.
Prince Harry and Meghan will likely spend some of their downtime preparing for their move from Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. It's believe the cozy home, which has been undergoing extensive renovations, will be ready for the young couple in March. Some of the upgrades include having an CA$86,000 green energy unit installed, creating an eco-friendly nursery (fit with vegan paint!) and a separate area for Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland, to live in.
