The Duchess of Cambridgeand the Queenare set to make a rare public appearance together! According to reports, Kate will join the monarch as she opens Bush House at Kings College London on March 19. As Patron of the college, the Queen has attended several events at the location. Her most recent was in 2012. Duchess Kate, meanwhile, stopped by in 2018 to visit new mothers at the Maurice Wohl Clinical Neuroscience Institute.
Since marrying Prince William, Kate and the Queen have attended several events together, their first being in March 2012. The pair travelled with Prince Philip to Leicester as part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee tour. They took the train from London's St. Pancras Station and journeyed to De Montfort University and Leicester Cathedral.
More recently, they were spotted at Kensington Palace celebrating the 50th anniversary of Prince Charles' investiture. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Prince William were also in attendance. The royals arrived at Buckingham Palace together, looking every inch the stylish group of royals they are! The Queen, ever a lover of colour, dazzled in a beautiful purple blazer and white-and-purple satin dress for the occasion, while her son looked dapper in a grey suit.
Kate, meanwhile, looked wonderful in a flowing mint-green Alexander McQueen dress, and kept her auburn locks styled in her trademark waves. She paired the dress with cream pumps and carried a satin clutch that perfectly matched the colour of her gown.
