The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have taken a step back from their royal roles to prepare for the arrival of their royal baby – but that doesn’t mean they can’t go out for a bit of city shopping! On Friday (March 29), Prince Harry and Meghan stepped out in London for a wellness-inspired shopping trip at Ilapothecary. Of course, the couple are getting ready to hunker down in Windsor with their soon-to-arrive newborn.
The reportedly two-hour store visit isn’t too surprising for the mom-to-be, who detailed her love for self-care on her now-defunct lifestyle blog, The Tig. Her love for everything holistic is likely rubbing off on her hubby, who was first spotted wearing an Oura Ring in Australia, which is used to track sleep and fitness. The couple probably spent some time checking out the store’s offers, from skincare products to services like massages and energy healing, before heading back to Windsor.
The duchess oozed cool in a Sixteen Candles-inspired T-shirt by RedBubble called the ‘Jake Ryan,’ which she paired with dark wash maternity jeans and her gorgeous gold Jennifer Meyer ‘Mummy’ necklace. But most royal watchers were over-the-moon about the coat she wore – owned by none other than her beau, Prince Harry. The green army-style jacket was the perfect addition to her casual ensemble, and a sweet homage to their beautiful relationship. The 34-year-old prince, topped with a baseball cap, traded his typical suit jacket and trousers for black jeans, a T-shirt and a pair of black Adidas sneakers.
Ilapothecary’s website says the homeopathic boutique counts big names like Natalie Portman, Gwyneth Paltrow and Donna Karan as customers. While it’s unknown what products (if any!) Meghan and Harry purchased or tried, their website promises their “products are infused with powerful remedial ingredients to counteract the stresses of modern living, environmental and digital pollution, mental stress and body fatigue.”
