The Duchess of Sussex has an abundance of friends – from Priyanka Chopra to Jessica Mulroney – who think she’ll make a fantastic mom. Now, Meghan’s former stylist former stylist Talia Brown Thall, who she first met years before meeting Prince Harry and becoming part of British royalty, has also gushed about the former Suits star becoming a parent.
The two hit it off after first meeting on a 2015 shoot for FLARE magazine, while the LA native was filming the hit paralegal show. “She really loves to love and that’s why I think she will be the best mom,” the stylist told People. “She’s kind and she thinks about the world around her. She’s going to be so great!”
The known lover of yoga and her stylist pal became fast friends and spent lots of time together taking part in hot yoga classes. “She would just get lost in the room. She has a really good soul,” Talia shared.
Even though they lost touch after Meghan and Harry started dating, the fashion star said she always had a hunch the duchess was destined for something grand. “It sounds weird, but I always knew Meghan was ready for big things. I didn’t know what they were but her energy and her desires were always grand – she was always working away, she never stopped,” Talia gushed.
To make their friendship even more special, it was the fashion mogul who introduced Meghan to Sentaler, according to People. It’s the luxury Canadian brand that designs one of the duchess’s go-to wrap coats. Many will remember the gorgeous camel coat she wore by the brand for her first Christmas as a then-unofficial royal. “Her style was always classic and clean,” Talia said of Meghan’s enduring fashion sense. “She loved jeans with white collared shirts and little pointy shoes. And sneakers, I think I’ve seen her in a thousand pairs!”
And as it turns out, Meghan has always been one to enjoy the simple pleasures of life: “We would go back to her house, just sit on the couch, drinking wine, eating berries and hanging out with her dogs,” the stylist said. “Her dogs were her pre-baby babies, they were both rescue dogs and she was so patient with them.”
