Royal fans have been eagerly awaiting a new glimpse of Prince Louis ahead of his first birthday on Tuesday (April 23), and there are finally new photos out! Duchess Kate and Prince William released three new pictures of the adorable little boy on Monday.
The photos were taken by Kate at the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s country home of Anmer Hall in Norfolk while they were taking an extended Easter holiday with Louis and his big brother Prince George, 5, and Princess Charlotte, 3. This isn’t the first time Kate has taken photos of her children. She was also responsible for Louis’s first official portraits, which came out two weeks after he was born, was also behind the camera for portraits celebrating Charlotte’s first birthday in 2016, and also took pictures of Prince George’s first day at nursery school
The little prince clearly looks like he’s already having a very happy childhood. He has his mother’s eyes and father’s hair, and he also looks a lot like his mom did when she was a baby! Louis has been cutting his baby teeth, and he’s already got a really adorable smile, which he’s showing off. “He really is the most cheerful, smiley little boy – he’s always so happy and content,” a source told People. In one of the images, Louis is wearing a very cute blue knit sweater with a puppy, and in two others, he’s seen sporting a red sweater and body suit with a peter pan collar.
The last time we saw Louis was when the Cambridges released their Christmas card in December. Just like these images, that photo was taken at Anmer Hall. Since then, Kate has revealed Louis is crawling. In March, she said he had been “bombing around” with walkers and trying to pull himself up. Too cute!
In just a few weeks, Princess Charlotte will turn 4, and with Baby Sussex due to arrive any day now and become a cousin to the Cambridge kids, the Royal Family has plenty to celebrate this spring!
