Cute things come in threes – and in this case, it’s cute Cambridge children! Prince William and Kate have released a set of adorable portraits each time their kids have turned one. Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have all had their adorable turns in front of the camera, and each set holds some similarities.
Being the eldest, George was the first of the Cambridge clan to get birthday portraits, which are also the only set of first birthday photos not taken by his photographer mom. He posed for snaps with his parents at the Sensational Butterflies exhibit at the Natural History Museum on July 2, 2014. The prince showed off his winning personality by bounding over to photographer John Stillwell while wearing the sweetest striped overalls and darling navy blue leather shoes.
Princess Charlotte’s big blue eyes beamed at her mom as her own first birthday photos were taken inside their Anmer Hall residence. The little one wore pink and blue, along with a pair of navy blue leather shoes – they were not the same as those sported by her older brother in his portraits, but were very similar. Charlotte – who turns four on May 2 – also showed off her active personality using one of her toys outdoors.
Duchess Kate recently got behind the lens again to snap some sweet photos of Prince Louis, her youngest child with Prince William. The adorable boy turned one on Tuesday (April 23), and portraits of the cutie enjoying some time in the great outdoors were released in celebration.
Louis looked like the spitting image of his mom when she was a baby, and wore a dog-print sweater and a pair of shorts. The latter are royal hand-me-downs from his big brother, who first wore the Amaia shorts in his 2014 Christmas portrait. Louis’s feet cannot really be seen in the photo, but he appears to be wearing similar leather shoes, too.
