Princess Charlotte is the mini me of both Princess Diana and the Queen in her new portraits

It’s been repeatedly pointed out how much Princess Charlotteresembles the women who came before her. When new photos of the four-year-old royal taken by Duchess Kate were released for Charlotte’s birthday this week, fans flooded the internet with their thoughts on who she looks like.

“She looks just like William, who looks like Diana,” one person commented on the Instagram post from Kensington Palace where the photos were revealed. Other commenters thought they saw the Queen’s mini me! “Eyes and brow of Queen Elizabeth, and the rest William/Diana,” another person wrote.

Charlotte certainly has the Queen’s facial shape. The two have similar eyes, jaw lines and noses. But she also has clearly inherited that same facial structure from dad Prince William, who also definitely has his grandmother’s olive-shaped eyes. Charlotte’s are also strikingly blue, just like William, who got that trait from Princess Diana.

Speaking of Diana, there’s a lot of her in Charlotte, too! While Charlotte’s brown hair is more like her mother Kate’s, she and Diana have similar eyebrows and cheeks, and that aforementioned similar confidence seems to partly have come from Diana, too.

When William and Kate released new portraits of Prince Louis for his first birthday last week, fans were also quick to point out the resemblances he shares with other family members, too! Some said he looked just like big brother Prince George, while others said he looks strikingly similar to his mom!
