Royal highlights of the month – May 2019

<a href="/tags/0/princess-eugenie"><strong>Princess Eugenie</strong></a> and <a href="/tags/0/princess-beatrice"><strong>Princess Beatrice</strong></a> brought the spring fashion to the party! Eugenie dazzled in a wrap-style pleated cream dress and matching hat, while Beatrice donned a floral tiered dress and headband for the occasion.

While at Bletchley Park on May 14, <strong><a hre="/tags/0/kate-middleton">Duchess Kate</a></strong> was greeted by an adorable little boy, who gave her a bouquet of colourful flowers. She paid a visit to the D-Day exhibition at Bletchley, which marks the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings.

On May 14, Harry stepped out to visit the Oxford Children’s Hospital. The new dad even revealed the sweetest detail about Archie Harrison, his first child with Duchess Meghan, while playing with some adorable kiddos.

The 34-year-old – who just welcomed his baby boy last week – spent some time speaking with Ida Scullard, whose three-year-old son, Emmett, was diagnosed with testicular cancer when he was just two. Given she’s a mom of two (and was holding her 10-week-old daughter!), she just had to ask him about his own foray into parenthood, and how little Archie was fitting in.

“Harry asked me if [my daughter] was over the stormy period as babies are supposed to be grumpy for the first 10 weeks, and she is,” Ida shared. “He said he’s getting used to the baby and how Archie has fitted into family life. He said he just feels part of the family and he can’t imagine life without his son.”

On May 8, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan debuted their newborn baby boy in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. The duo looked happy as ever to have become new parents just two days prior.

<strong><a href="/tags/0/archie-harrison">Archie Harrison</a></strong> snoozed happily in the arms of his father, Prince Harry. The little one wore a merino wool knit blanket by royal favourite GH Hurt & Son Ltd.

After Duchess Meghan gave birth to their baby boy on May 6, Prince Harry addressed the press at Windsor Castle.
<p>“Still thinking about names,” he said. “The baby’s a little bit overdue, so we’ve had a little bit of time to think about it. That’s the next bit. For us, I think we’ll be seeing you guys in probably two days time as planned as a family to be able to share it with you guys so everyone can see the baby.”

He continued: “I haven’t been at many births. This is definitely my first birth. It was amazing, absolutely incredible. As I said, I’m so incredibly proud of my wife and as every father and parent would ever say, ‘your baby is absolutely amazing,’ but this little thing is absolutely to die for so I’m just over the moon.”

Horsin' around! <strong><a href="/tags/0/duchess-of-cornwall">Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall</a></strong> offered a mint to a foal during a visit to The National Stud on May 2. This marked her first visit since being appointed as patron.

The royals were out for the garden party at Buckingham Palace on May 29! <a href="/tags/0/queen-elizabeth-ii"><strong>The Queen</strong></a> was joined by <a href="/tags/0/prince-harry"><strong>Prince Harry</strong></a>, and <a href="/tags/0/princess-beatrice"><strong>Princesses Beatrice</strong></a> and <a href="/tags/0/princess-eugenie"><strong>Eugenie</strong></a> for the exciting day.
