Princess Diana’s sister just visited Prince Harry and Meghan’s first royal baby Archie

Archie Harrison is one popular royal baby! At just days old, Prince Harry and Meghan’s bundle of joy has already been welcoming his first visitors – and one of the first to come by was Princess Diana’s sister, Lady Jane Fellowes, who spoke at the royal couple’s wedding back in 2018.

Neither Meghan or her child ever had the chance to meet Harry’s late mom, but she will surely be in their lives in memory, and Jane is certainly playing an important role in that. The 62-year-old met him last week, shortly after his arrival on May 6 and his public debut at Windsor Castle on May 8, according to The Telegraph. Archie also met Prince Philip, the Queen and Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, that week, too, which culminated in a heartwarming photo shared to the @sussexroyal Instagram account.

Family means everything to both Meghan and Harry, and the new dad is extremely close with his mother’s side. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made sure to include Diana in the official announcement for Archie’s birth, writing that Jane, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and earl Spencer were all “delighted” by the news.

Of course, royal watchers are definitely wondering when Prince William and Duchess Kate will have the chance to meet their beautiful nephew. The duo are expected to travel to Windsor to meet the baby sometime early this week. Prince Charles and Camilla will pass through Frogmore Cottage later in the week following their exciting four-day trip to Germany.
