The Duchess of Cambridge brought royal baby Archie the sweetest gift

Baby Archie Harrison has been receiving gifts from the day Prince Harry and Meghan announced their pregnancy on royal tour last year. The latest addition to the Royal Family has been positively spoiled by his fans worldwide, who have been showering him with everything from kangaroo plushies to sweet children’s books.

On Tuesday (May 14), Duchess Kate was given something very special from a fan at Bletchley Park to pass on to the new arrival. Prince William and Kate reportedly met Archie for the same day.

A group of children, who were eagerly waiting to meet one of their favourite royals, handed Duchess Kate four animal toys (a squirrel, fox, owl and rabbit). The kids reportedly told the mom of three that they were for Archie, along with his cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

“They love wild animals,” Kate gushed to the kids, according to HELLO! UK. “They will look after these.”

The Royal Family has clearly enjoyed welcoming their latest little addition, and they’ve also been celebrating a variety of other birthdays recently. Prince Louis officially turned one year old on April 23, while Princess Charlotte celebrated her fourth birthday shortly after on May 2. So they’ve likely collected quite a few new toys between the three of them!

Prince Harry has been finding time to keep up with his royal role while Duchess Meghan has been resting up with her baby on maternity leave. The 34-year-old opened up about what it’s like being a new dad to his friend JJ Chalmers while in The Hague to launch the official one-year countdown to the 2020Invictus Games, which the Dutch city will host.

“He said it’s amazing but it’s hard work,” the 2014 Invictus Games medallist told Metro. “He said that [Archie] slept for the first 24 hours like all babies do, and then he woke up. He said he’s getting used to the baby and how Archie has fitted into family life. He said he just feels part of the family and he can’t imagine life without his son.” Too sweet!
