Babies bring people together! After just turning one week old, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is already making magic in the Royal Family. Despite their very different schedules, Duchesses Kate and Meghan have been bonding over motherhood since the Sussex family blossomed.
“Meghan and Kate will be spending a lot more time together," a palace insider told Us Weekly. “Now that they’re bonding over motherhood, they’ve become closer than ever.”
It’s no surprise, given the Duchess of Cambridge’s love for children (and having three of her own!) and passion for youth and maternal wellness. Shes likely become a great support for new mom Meghan, despite no longer being neighbours in Kensington Palace.
“It’s such a special time and with Louis and Charlotte having just had their birthdays, it's such a great time of the year to have a baby,” Kate gushed while with Prince William, launching The King’s Cup Regatta at the Cutty Sark in London last week. “And yes, spring’s in the air and everything, so its pretty great.”
“As William said, we look forward to meet him and finding out what his name is going to be,” she continued. “So it’s really exciting for both of them. And I’m wishing them the best in these next few weeks. It’s always a bit daunting the first time around.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had the chance to meet Archie Harrison on Tuesday (May 14), the Daily Mail’s royal reporter Rebecca English shared on Twitter. Although Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis weren’t able to join them this time, there’s no doubt a royal playdate is in their near future.
