Every American president the Queen has met during her reign

The Queen greeted US President Donald Trump at Buckingham Palace on June 3. It was their second meeting, following last year's tea at Windsor Castle with Melania Trump.
Her Majesty has met 11 serving US presidents during her reign. She also met Herbert Hoover after the end of his presidency and Harry Truman when she was still a princess. During her reign, she became the first ever UK monarch to address the American Congress, and has also made huge strides to deepen and continually improve the UK's relationship with its cousins across the water.

Dwight Eisenhower
Although the Queen met both Harry Truman and Herbert Hoover, her first encounter with a US president while she was the monarch was Dwight Eisenhower.
The two first met in 1957 (pictured) on Her Majesty's inaugural state visit to the United States. They met again in 1959, when the Queen helped Eisenhower open the St. Lawrence Seaway in Canada on the royal yacht Britannia.

Her Majesty met John F. Kennedy and his wife Jackie Kennedy Onassis on their state visit to the UK in 1961.
John was the first sitting US president to visit Buckingham Palace since Woodrow Wilson met with George V in 1918 at the end of World War I.
This was the first and only time the Queen met John and Jackie, since John was assassinated a little over a year later.
