Was royal baby Archie Harrison at Trooping the Colour?

By Meaghan Wray

All eyes were on the Buckingham Palace balcony as the youngest members of the Royal Family stole the show during Trooping the Colour. From Prince Louis’s thumb sucking to Princess Charlotte’s two-handed wave, there was no shortage of Kodak moments. But one reported moment involving Archie Harrison was apparently missed...

When Prince Harry and Meghan rode into Buckingham Palace for Trooping the Colour over the weekend, their baby boy was nowhere to be seen – and understandably so, given his age! But recent reports are say Archie may have been there all along – we just may not have seen him – and he has apparently already met his Cambridge cousins.

“Archie was at Trooping the Colour. [It] was a chance for him to meet some of his cousins,” a source revealed to Us Weekly.

It’s possible the couple didn’t want to leave him all the way at home in Windsor, and instead opted to bring him along for the festivities, choosing to leave him inside the palace when they took their spots on the balcony.

“She has spent almost every moment with him and saying goodbye was very difficult,” the source continued. “But Meghan truly wanted to be at the celebration for the Queen... Meghan loved seeing all the other royal children and was doting on them.”

Trooping the Colour marked Duchess Meghan’s first appearance since the debut of her baby boy at Windsor Castle on May 8. It’s likely been a whirlwind few weeks for the new mom as the family of three settles in to their new routine at their quaint home of Frogmore Cottage.

Just a day after the debut, Prince Harry joined polo friend Nacho Figueras at a match in Rome in support of his charity, Sentebale.

“Harry left for Italy and it was very difficult for him to leave Archie and Meghan,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “He wants to spend every second he can with them.”

While royal watchers weren’t blessed with a peek at the new baby boy, he will certainly be making another appearance soon when he’s christened. Just like the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s three children, Meghan and Harry are likely to choose one of the royal-approved churches to have their first child christened at within the coming months.
