After meeting with local farmers and trying some cheeses (Kate even tried her hand at sheep shearing!), the Cambridge couple headed over to the Inn on the Lake in Ullswater before travelling back to London. Of course, anyone who stumbles across these two will recognize their faces – the inn managed to snap some adorable photos of the duo meeting some little ones.

“We had two VERY special guests stop by today!” the establishment wrote on Instagram in a post that included a series of candid snaps. “Our Sales Manager Teresa and Dani, one of our Hotel Directors, both had the pleasure of meeting the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge! Kate wore the same outfit from earlier in the day. She paired her Troy London Tracker jacket with her Fjallraven Ovik Re-Wool Sweater underneath, a frill-collared blouse and her See by Chloé Ankle Boots. Of particular note was her black Smythson Panama East West Tote bag she brought to lunch with her husband. It’s a style of purse rarely seen worn by the duchess, as she typically opts for handbags or clutches.
Earlier that day, the duke and duchess greeted well-wishers during a walkabout in Keswick, before heading to a local farm to learn about the challenges they face. Kate and William helped one such farmer shear a sheep.
