Prince George and Princess Charlotte were completely adorable while watching their parents compete in the King’s Cup regatta

Ahoy, mateys! The sweetest little faces were watching while Prince William and Duchess Kate took to the seas to get their race on in The King's Cup regatta on Aug. 8.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte were spotted by royal watchers and photographers in a boat with several onlookers including their grandparents, Michael Middleton and Carole Middleton and they certainly looked dressed for the occasion!

The Prince of Cambridge, who recently turned six years old, peered out from the cockpit of another boat, dressed in a blue-and-white-striped Breton shirt, captain’s hat and lifejacket, cheering both of his parents on. Charlotte was also dressed in blue and white stripes and looked confident and happy as she watched her parents.

It also looked like George has lost a few more teeth since we last saw him! On his birthday of July 22, new portraits of the happy little boy were released. The pictures, which were taken by Kate, showed the little soccer fan laughing and grinning while sporting an England jersey.

His two front bottom teeth were missing then, and now it looks like his two front top teeth have followed suit! We hope the Tooth Fairy has been very good to him – perhaps the fairy even put a gift certificate for some sailing lessons under his pillow!

Charlotte looks like she also be learning how to sail very soon! Plenty of royals, including the Queen, have already spoken about how sure of herself the little princess is, and she certainly looked like it while she watched her parents. We bet she and George would make the best sailing duo in a two-person Laser boat – it looks like they’ll both be keen to trade off skipper duties at the tiller!

It sounds like they had a good deal of fun before the race, too! HELLO! royal correspondent Emily Nash tweeted that George and Charlotte “had a fun morning on the foreshore in Cowes, taking part in family activities including a tug-of-war with ‘Pirate Pete’ bubbles, and a magician ahead of the afternoon’s racing.” Little brother Prince Louis was also reportedly there.

A very funny moment was had at the end of the race, when a cheeky Charlotte stuck her tongue out at someone in a crowd that had gathered to greet her, Kate and George!

George and Charlotte are already very into sports. His sixth birthday party, held at Kensington Palace, was reportedly soccer-themed. Last month, it was reported George has been taking private tennis lessons from Roger Federer, who is a friend of his mom and has quickly become George’s favourite player! Roger even called the prince “cute” and said he found George’s ability with a racquet “already good.”

Charlotte and George were spotted kicking a soccer ball around while Kate brought them and baby brother Prince Louis along to watch William and their uncle Prince Harry compete in a charity polo match last month. Their aunt, Duchess Meghan, brought their new baby cousin Archie Harrison along, too! Charlotte certainly looked like she’s already had plenty of practice time with her mom and dad, and was quite skilled at dribbling the ball around while she played with George.

The King’s Cup regatta, which was to be held Aug. 9, was moved to the day before because of bad weather. William and Kate were both skippers on two boats in the eight-boat race, which was held to benefit charities of their choice.

William led his team on behalf of his patronage Child Bereavement UK, while Kate competed for The Royal Foundation . A bevy of celebrities joined the royal pair in the race and represented some of the couple’s other favourite charities.

Olympic champion rower Helen Glover, adventurer Bear Grylls and stand-up comedian John Bishop were among those involved. They represented the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Famililes, Tusk and Action on Addiction, respectively. The BBC’s Katie Thistleton helmed a boat for Place2Be. England women’s soccer player Fara Williams skippered on behalf of Centrepoint, while TV historian Dan Snow took the tiller for London’s Air Ambulance Charity.

Bear and Tusk won the race, while Dan and London’s Air Ambulance Charity came in second place and William and Child Bereavement UK finished third!
