Happy Birthday, Princess Anne!

The Queen’s only daughter turned 69 on Aug. 15, and Her Majesty was keen to celebrate her completing another trip around the Sun!

On Thursday, the Royal Family’s official Instagram account posted a very sweet tribute to the Princess Royal to mark the occasion. The team behind it shared a gorgeous picture of the Queen with Anne that was taken by legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz.

“Wishing The Princess Royal a Happy Birthday!” the caption underneath the photo read. It also included a red balloon and party emoji.

Anne will likely also receive special birthday wishes from her children, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips, along withs some from her brothers Prince Charles, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward. We’re sure her nieces and nephews Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, Lady Louise Windsor, James, Viscount Severn and Prince William and Prince Harry will also send good wishes on to their aunt!

Anne works very hard and is known for her charitable endeavours. In 2018, she worked 180 days of the year! The year before, she also put in an incredible number of days, going to 455 official appearances and 85 engagements overseas. We hope she can take her birthday to spend some time relaxing!
