Kate looked GORGEOUS as she arrived, wearing a teal cocktail dress by ARoss Girl, earrings by Zeen and green high heels.
The Aga Khan Centre is the home the Aga Khan Foundation, the Aga Khan University's Institute for the Study of Muslim Civilisations, and the Institute of Ismaili Studies. It is one of the most important organizations associated with Ismaili Islam, a branch of Shi'a Islam that is highly practiced among Muslims in the diaspora communities from Pakistan and India. Green is an important colour in Islam, symbolizing paradise in the Qur'an. It's also one of the colours on Pakistan's flag! We love how Kate is showing respect for Islam and all the cultures associated with it by wearing this outfit!

Once inside, William and Kate took some time to chat with Shah Karim Hussaini, Aga Khan IV. He is the spiritual head of Nizari Ismaili Islam, which is practiced by between 10-12 per cent of the world's Shi'a Muslims. His followers believe he is a direct descendant of the Prophet Muhammad.
He is well-known for his philanthropy and development work, and advances causes such as the eradication of poverty, the rights of women and girls, promoting religious pluralism and promoting Islamic art and culture.

One of those who was there was rapper Naughty Boy. While he was born in England, he spent part of his childhood in Pakistan. He was also recently given a grant from The Prince's Trust to start his own business. He now runs a studio in London!

Boxer Haroon Khan (left) and comedian Shazia Mirza were also in attendance. Shazia is the daughter of British immigrants from Pakistan, and Haroon comes from a Pakistani family with roots in Rawalpindi, India.
