Duchess Meghan brings Prince Harry as her special guest to Windsor forum on gender equality

The couple arrived by car, which was being driven by Harry. Meghan looked gorgeous, wearing a burgundy blouse with a red leather skirt, and wore her hair up in a beehive – that's not a hairstyle we've seen her wear much before!

Inside, the couple were joined by leaders from around the world, who told the Duke and Duchess of Sussex about how communities have pushed through obstacles to gender equality and strategies that have worked best to advance rights for women and girls.

Meghan also took the time to explain why her husband was at the discussion.
"In terms of gender equality, which is something I have championed for a long time, I think that conversation can't happen without men being a part of it," she said. "So for this reason it made complete sense to let him join today so thank you for letting him crash the party."

Harry listened intently to his wife as she spoke about the issue, which is close to her heart. Meghan recently highlighted gender equality and the rights of women and girls during much of the couple's royal tour of South Africa.

Duchess Meghan stepped out to Windsor Castle for a forum on gender equality as part of her work with One Young World on Oct. 25 – and she had a special guest with her: Prince Harry!
Meghan has long been involved with One Young World, and attended the launch of the annual One Young World Summit in London earlier this week. She's gone to two of the meetings before: once in 2014 in Dublin, and also in Ottawa in 2016.
