Prince Harry has an awesome day meeting the United Kingdom's 2020 Invictus Games athletes

Prince Harry stepped out to the Honourable Artillery Company in London on Oct. 29 to meet the UK team that will compete in the 2020 Invictus Games.
Of course, the cause is close to his heart, since it supports wounded veterans and servicemembers and helps them find connection and support through the power of sport. Harry is a veteran himself, having served in Afghanistan in 2007-08 and 2012-13 before leaving the UK army in 2015.

Harry, who came wearing a brown sweater, dark green pants and a poppy ahead of Remembrance Day next month, was overwhelmed with the welcome he received from the athletes.

The prince was keen to hug members of the team, which is one of 19 countries that will be competing in the 2020 Invictus Games from May 9 to 16.

Harry took a group photo with the team, which is among the 500 athletes who will compete in 10 different sports in The Hague.

Harry's goofy spirit was on display at the launch, as he posed with this doppelganger and another redhead.

He was in a serious mood, too, of course, and was very keen to talk to athletes about how the Invictus Games has helped them.

One athlete gave him a stuffed animal, and the Duke of Sussex's expression was perfect. We think it's probably for Archie Harrison, who will be six months old in just a few days!
