Duchess Kate has fun with kids as she opens a new hospice for one of her first patronages

Duchess Kate opened a new hospice for East Anglia Children's Hospices, one of her very first patronages, on Nov. 15! The mom of three helped launch a £10 million ($17 million) appeal for the facility in November 2014 and five years later... it's a reality!
Kate has been a patron of EACH, which supports children and families of youngsters with life-threatening conditions across the Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. The new facility is called Nook, and has just opened in Framingham Earl, Norfolk.
While there, Kate met many kids who will use the incredible space, and also gave a speech.

Kate looked gorgeous as she arrived at the hospice, wearing a fuscia Oscar de la Renta suit dress, which we last saw her wearing in January when she stepped out to the Royal Opera House in London. She paired her look with black Giuseppe Zanotti heels and carried a black Aspinal clutch.

Kate was given a beautiful bouquet as she greeted the hospice staff, and got in a good laugh when someone said something very amusing.

She had a good discussion with the hospice's staff before heading inside.

She also had some pretty serious discussions with parents and kids about their needs.

Kate met Stanley Harrold, 3, who has Pallister-Killian syndrome, a rare chromosomal disorder that causes muscle difficulties, intellectual disabilities, facial differences, sparse hair and other complications.
