Prince Harry went with Duchess Meghan and Archie to a playgroup session this week

Prince Harry is a devoted husband and dad, and he showed it this week when he reportedly stepped out with Duchess Meghan and Archie to a playgroup session in Windsor.

Back in October, it was revealed the Duchess of Sussex had taken her young son to his first playgroup just before she and the Duke attended the WellChild Awards.

“It was a lot of fun. He loved it,” she told other parents as they greeted award winners backstage before the show.

This time, dad went with mom and baby to the class, which is held near their home of Frogmore Cottage.

“There were a couple of other dads there – he wasn’t the only dad there!” a royal insider told People.

Archie was also reportedly drawn to other redhead children who were there.

“Archie had a fantastic time,” the source continued. “He was crawling around and was particularly taken with two other red-haired babies. The Duke said: ‘Gingers stick together!’”

Meghan and Harry have been sharing quite a lot about their little boy, who turned six months old earlier this month. While visiting military families at a surprise engagement in Windsor last week, they revealed Archie has been teething and he’s also started to crawl.

Yesterday, The Duke and Duchess surprised their neighbours in Windsor at a coffee morning for military families in a community centre located in the heart of the Army housing estate. Every year during the month of November we pause to remember and honour all those who have served their country here in the UK, across the Commonwealth and around the world. Their Royal Highnesses also wanted to show support for the families of service personnel who are currently deployed overseas. As we lead up to Remembrance Sunday, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will join Her Majesty The Queen and other Members of the Royal Family at various commemoration events, including the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall and the Cenotaph. During the visit yesterday, Their Royal Highnesses met with young families who shared their experiences as parents and as couples who are often apart from their loved ones for months at a time. A reminder that a life of service does not simply describe the person wearing the uniform, but the entire family. #Remembrance #Lestweforget

In a video posted to the couple’s SussexRoyal Instagram account, Meghan can be seen kneeling down to speak to a little girl, who is holding an orange rose to give the duchess.

“Look at all your teeth!” she exclaims in the clip, before gesturing to the child’s bottom gum and saying, “Archie just got two teeth. Some tiny ones, right there.”

There are also signs Archie could have a sibling one day, since at the same event, Harry was reportedly asking families about their experiences having a second child.

“Harry was really quite interested in how things were with second children as well, because we both have older children,” Susie Stringfellow told Forces Network of the conversation the Duke of Sussex had with herself and another military parent, according to People. The proud mom said both parents then tried to convince the duke he and Meghan should have another child.

Archie will soon be heading to the United States with both of his parents, who are planning to take a six-week break from royal duties. Earlier this week, it was announced the Sussexes will also spend Christmas with Doria Ragland, Meghan’s mother, instead of the Queen and the Royal Family at Sandringham. Her Majesty is said to be supportive of this, and it’s not unusual. Duchess Kate and Prince William have spent the holidays with the Middleton family in Bucklebury before, so the trip may simply be the Sussexes’ attempt to structure their celebrations in a similar way.
