During A Berry Royal Christmas, which airs on Dec. 16 in the UK, the Duchess of Cambridge was chatting to the cooking and baking legend about the children, and revealed how her youngest child appears to have taken a keen interest in her cookbooks.
“One of Louis’s first words was ‘Mary,’ because right at his height are all my cooking books in the kitchen bookshelf,” said Kate. “And children are really fascinated by faces, and your faces are all over your cooking books and he would say, ‘That’s Mary Berry,’ so he would definitely recognize you if he saw you today.”
We can only imagine what the adorable one-year-old will think when he sees Mary, his mom and dad Prince William on the BBC One special.
The program highlights some of the hardworking people at charities during the holiday season, and it features the Cambridges, Mary and former Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain giving thanks to them over a delicious meal. And the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are involved in the preparations!

On Dec. 4, Duchess Kate first discussed Louis’s major talking milestone while visiting Peterley Manor Farm with Family Action and helping children pick out Christmas trees.
“You remind me of my little Louis, he keeps saying, ‘Me, me, me’ and he wants to come everywhere with me,” the mom of three reportedly said to another boy, according to the Daily Mail.
Another milestone for Louis and royals fans was when the sweet little boy made his debut at Trooping the Colour in June. He won many hearts by waving excitedly to the crowds with the rest of the Royal Family on Buckingham Palace’s balcony.
