Duchess Kate and Prince William are awestruck by incredible cake made in their honour

Duchess Kate and Prince William were back to work at the first royal engagement of 2020 on Jan. 15 in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The couple had a full schedule, including a stop at the Khidmat Centre, where they were presented with a jaw-dropping cake!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were at the centre to learn more about the activities and workshops offered there. When they entered, they were presented with the gorgeous creation by Bradford baker Siama Ali.

The spectacular treat featured a regal red, white, blue and gold colour palette with different tiers and cupcakes topped with tiny edible photo frames. The masterpiece showcased the history of Kate and William to date depicted through the edible photos!

Pictures from the event show the Cambridges animatedly admiring different features of the detailed cake. It was almost too beautiful to take a bite!

ITV reported that Duchess Kate called the cake "really clever" and "incredible."

William joked, "Mary Berry would be impressed." The duke would know ,given that he, Kate and the baking legend recently recorded the A Berry Royal Christmas special for the holidays!

While in Bradford, the duke and duchess stopped by British-Asian MyLahore's flagship restaurant to learn about some of their community work. They had another culinary experience when they got to make lassi frozen drinks.

Kate and William also spent time greeting royals fans outside. They waved, chatted with the crowds and even took selfies with well-wishers!
