Duchess Kate looks beautiful at 2020 BAFTAs in dress she wore in Malaysia in 2012

Duchess Kate and Prince William stepped out to the 2020 EE British Academy Film Awards on Feb. 2. And the mom of three looked absolutely sensational in a custom Alexander McQueen gown we last saw her wear in Malaysia in 2012!

Attendees have been asked not to wear new dresses this year and opt for previously-worn wardrobe items or sustainable options. Given that the Royal Family are passionate environmentalists and are keen supporters of keeping Earth green, Kate happily obliged! After all, she has worn so many amazing gowns over the years, and she's known as being a keen fan of re-wearing some of her favourite styles!

While Kate walked the red carpet, she wore her hair up and accessorized with a pair of Jimmy Choo pumps. She also wore a necklace and earring set by Van Cleef & Arpels, and carried a sparkly gold clutch.

William looked dapper in a tuxedo with a black bowtie, proudly standing next to his gorgeous wife as they arrived.

In 2012, Kate wore the same Alexander McQueen gown by Sarah Burton to a state dinner in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, that was hosted by The Agong, the country's King. The spectacular dress is embroidered with hibiscuses, which are Malaysia's official flowers. Back then, the duchess also carried a glittering gold clutch by Wilbur and Gussie and accessorized with Catherine Zoraida jewellery.

Kate has worn so many gorgeous looks to the BAFTAs over the years, and this is no exception. Last year, we saw her in a gorgeous asymmetrical white Alexander McQueen gown, which she paired with sparkly Jimmy Choo heels. She accessorized with a dazzling pair of tear-drop earrings that were once worn by Princess Diana.
