Duchess Kate wowed the moment she and Prince William stepped off the plane at Dublin International Airport on March 3, for their first official tour of the country. She paid tribute to the Emerald Isle with an outfit featuring multiple shades of green. And her new sparkling Asprey diamond earrings certainly didn't go unnoticed!
The Duchess of Cambridge's brand new jewels were on full display thanks to the way her glossy waves had been pushed back off her face and ears with a fashionable black padded headband.
According to HELLO! UK, the mom of three's earrings are the Asprey Daisy Heritage Earrings. The diamond earrings sell for US$22,400 and feature a "quintessentially English daisy" created with individually set marquise cut stones as the flower's petals and a half-ball of pavé diamonds in the centre to replicate the texture of the flower's middle.
The brand states the daisy motif has been used in its designs for decades and flora and fauna are frequently part of its collections. The Daisy collection also features an array of necklaces, rings and earrings.
When arriving in Dublin, the duchess was clad in a double-breasted forest green Catherine Walker coat. She later removed the jacket to reveal the splendour of her emerald green printed Alessandra Rich dress.
The intricate buttons on Kate's dress, with their flower-like detailing, beautifully played off her daisy earrings.
The Duchess of Cambridge accessorized with a green suede L.K. Bennett clutch and deep forest green pumps, along with the aforementioned hairband. She also wore her diamond and sapphire engagement ring and eternity band, which she is not often without!
Kate has incredible style and she is known for wearing beautiful jewels. She borrows the Queen's stones on occasion, but also sometimes showcases new pieces, like this case.
The duchess has worn Asprey before. In October, she sported the Woodland Collection Oak Leaf Earrings when she stepped out to visit the Natural History Museum in London.
