Duchess Kate paid tribute to Ireland in all sorts of wonderful ways with her wardrobe as she and Prince William toured the country on their first official royal tour this week. The mom of three wore plenty of incredible green ensembles, and dainty shamrock earrings have been a fixture on her ears.
The lucky style is the
Gold Mini Cupid Hoops With Baby Shamrock Charms by Daniella Draper, according to HELLO! UK. And the duchess paired the jewellery with a matching necklace, thought to be the Baby Shamrock Necklace, when she visited Galway on the third day of the tour (March 5).
The delicate 9ct yellow gold baby shamrock earrings are a subtle style that doesn't go unnoticed. According to the Daniella Draper website, the shamrock charm represents faith, hope and love and is a lucky addition to a jewellery collection!
All of the British jewellery brand's pieces are responsibly made in England. Daniella Draper utilizes recycled gold and silver to produce high quality items meant to stand the test of time and be passed on to future generations.
Kate was first spotted wearing the earrings on the second day of the tour, March 4. She sported them to multiple engagements, including visiting Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health in Ireland, and while on a romantic walk with William in Howth, a suburb of Dublin on the Irish Sea.
Kate continued to wear the earrings on the third day of the tour, this time adding in the matching necklace.
The Duchess of Cambridge has shown her support for the brand before. She paid a sweet tribute to her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, on her whirlwind 24-hour tour of the UK on Jan. 22 to launch her "5 big questions on the under 5s" survey. While away from her kids, she sported a custom Daniella Draper necklace featuring the children's initials. It was thought she was wearing the Personalized Gold Midnight Moon Necklace.
On the Ireland tour, Kate's jewellery was as much a treat as her clothes on the 2020 Ireland tour. On March 3, she effortlessly mixed designer and high street brands when she and William stopped by the Guinness Storehouse's Gravity Bar in Dublin for a tasting.
On the other side of the spectrum, Kate debuted a show-stopping pair of diamond Asprey earrings on the first day of the Republic of Ireland tour.
The fashionable duchess turned heads in the Asprey Daisy Heritage Earrings, which sell for approximately $30,000. The glinting jewels feature a "quintessentially English daisy" created with individually set marquise cut stones as the flower's petals and a half-ball of pavé diamonds in the centre to replicate a flower's middle.
