Awwww! There was plenty of romance in the air when Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry stepped out to the 2020 Endeavour Awards in London on March 5. Not only were the Duke and Duchess of Sussex affectionate as they linked arms entering Mansion House, they also witnessed a proposal during the awards ceremony!
The Endeavour Fund Awards is an annual event celebrating the achievements of wounded, injured and sick servicemembers who have taken part in remarkable sporting and adventure challenges.
Danny Holland was the first awards recipient of the night. He was recognized for his success with The Forces' Motorsport Charity, a nonprofit which delivers recovery sport, vocational training and careers in automotive for the Armed Forces community.
In a short video clip posted online, Danny takes the stage to collect his Recognising Achievement Award then calls his girlfriend to join him. He then drops down to one knee, produces a ring box and proposes!
Photographers captured the emotional and joyous reaction of the audience, including the Sussexes and English actor Ross Kemp, who was seated next to the pair.
In the video shared on Twitter by ITV News royal editor Chris Ship, the crowd erupts into a roar of cheers, whistles and claps. Harry and Meghan look surprised but ecstatic as Danny's partner says "yes." The Duchess of Sussex is seen bringing her hands to her mouth then beaming with delight.

The video ends with Danny and his now-fiancée hugging and kissing and sharing a tender moment.
"She said yes!!" wrote the Endeavour Fund Twitter account. "A second enormous congratulations to Danny on his engagement! What an amazing proposal, and what a way to kick off the #EndeavourFundAwards!"
Both Danny and Lauren were invited to speak to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after the ceremony.
"They congratulated us," Lauren told the Press Association. "They asked us how we felt and if I was expecting it. They said they were really happy for us."
This was Prince Harry and Meghan's first UK joint engagement since announcing their departure from their senior royal roles in January, and what a memorable occasion it was!
The former actress turned heads in a fitted turquoise dress by Victoria Beckham and navy accessories. She rounded out the look with a navy clutch, heels by Manolo Blahnik and tiny of golden hoop earrings.
The Sussexes have a few individual and joint engagements in the coming days. Harry will step out March 6 for the Silverstone Experience with Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton.
On March 7, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend the Mountbatten Music Festival at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The annual event showcases the Royal Marines' military musicians.
Their final joint outing as senior members of the Royal Family is scheduled for March 9. They will attend Commonwealth Day services with the Queen, Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, Prince William and Duchess Kate.
