Little Archie is reaching new milestones, including trying to walk!

It has been a while since royals fans were treated to an update about Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry's young son. The Duchess of Sussex shared the sweet news on March 6 during a surprise visit to Robert Clack Upper School in Dagenham ahead of International Women's Day.

At the East London school, Meghan spoke about the significance of the day to the students and also talked with those present, including Geraldine Dear, an original member of the "Dagenham Girls" who campaigned for equal pay for women at the Ford car factory in Essex.

"I did ask her how Archie is," the 66-year-old explained to The Sun. "She said to me he's 10 months old today and he's just trying to walk."

Student Olivia Collins also said Meghan discussed the importance of parenting and how it's changed her life.

"She was talking about how having Archie has changed her life and how important motherhood is," Olivia stated.

Archie was born on May 6, 2019, so he was exactly 10 months old when Meghan stepped out to the school. We bet the toddler was very close to her heart that day, especially when she was surrounded by the young students.

Earlier, it was reported Archie would remain in Canada while the former actress and Harry returned to the UK to complete their final engagements.

It is believed the little boy also stayed in our country with a nanny when Harry and Meghan went to London in January to visit Canada House and announced they were stepping down.

Royals fans last got a glimpse of Meghan and Harry's son when the Sussex Royal Instagram account shared a loving photo of little Archie on New Year's Eve. The tender image showed Harry holding his young boy in front of what appeared to be a British Columbia coastline. The couple were staying in a home on Vancouver Island near North Saanich, B.C. at the time, and it is currently where they are thought to be residing.

On March 9, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out with members of the Royal Family, including the Queen, Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, Prince William and Duchess Kate, to attend Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey.

It was a poignant moment for the pair because it was their last official joint engagement before they step down from their roles on March 31.

Meghan marked the occasion in a prim emerald green dress with asymmetrical draped neckline by Emilia Wickstead. She accessorized with a matching green fascinator with netted bow by William Chambers, her favourite beige Aquazzura heels and Birks snowflake earrings.

The sparkling jewels can be seen as a lovely subtle tribute to Canada.
