Prince Harry, Duchess Meghan and Archie will travel to Balmoral with the Queen this summer

By Zach Harper

Archie didn't cross the Atlantic Ocean for Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's final engagements as senior royals last week, but he will visit his great-grandmother this summer!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have accepted an invitation from the Queen to spend part of the summer at Balmoral in Scotland, reports say. Archie, who was born in the UK last May, has spent the last few months in Canada, where he's been living with his parents. The Times reports the little boy's summer trip is likely to be his first time back since last year, though there's a chance we also might see him for Trooping the Colour in June. Nothing's for sure, though.

Archie will spend time with Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla in the warmer months, too, according to The Times.

Meghan returned to Canada last week following the Sussexes' final engagements as senior royals, and Harry followed soon after. They officially step down from their roles on March 31.

Archie turns one year old very soon! The little boy hits the huge milestone on May 6, and it's incredible to think how quickly that time has gone by. We're sure fans of the Sussexes are hoping to see him on or around his birthday, too!
