Sustainable fashion brands Duchess Kate and Duchess Meghan love

There are numerous ways the Royal Family have made sustainable choices and highlighted more eco-friendly options, including with their fashion.
Stylish royals, like Duchess Kate and Duchess Meghan, have stepped out in ethical fashion brands that help make a difference to our planet and the people on it. The fashion and jewelry brands utilize more eco-conscious materials, put a spotlight on important causes, come up with innovative solutions and much more. The finished results are stylish and thoughtful products that royals clearly love, and so do we!

Stella McCartney
What a chic and eco-conscious couple! Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry attended a welcome reception hosted by King Tupou VI and Queen Nanasipau'u in Nuku'alofa, Tonga during their royal tour in 2019.
The Duchess of Sussex wowed in a white Stella McCartney gown, with embellished shoulder details.
The British brand has a number of sustainable practices including never using any leather, feathers, fur and skins. The ethos has been in place since the company was founded.
In 2012, Stella McCartney made shoe soles biodegradable and ensured all wood used was certified sustainable.

Beulah London
Duchess Kate wore the Beulah London heart-printed Shibani scarf when she visited Port Talbot in February.
The cheerful scarf was made by one of the brand's manufacturers that offers vulnerable women in India, Bangladesh and Nepal sustainable employment opportunities.
Beulah London's slogan is "fighting slavery through fashion" and the British brand works closely with its suppliers to ensure "human and environmental conditions are the best they can be."

Kate's Pakistan royal tour wardrobe had many lovely items, including sustainable picks.
At the Army Canine Centre on in 2019 in Islamabad, the duchess donned a longline black blazer coat by Beulah London.

Rothy's
Duchess Meghan showed her support for a few sustainable brands during her and Prince Harry's 16-day royal tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.
At South Melbourne beach in 2018, the former actress slipped into the Rothy's black flats.
The eco-conscious shoes are crafted from repurposed water bottles! Furthermore, they are made in Rothy's sustainable, fully owned and operated workshop.

Veja
For the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's first Invictus Games as a married couple, Meghan stepped out in Veja sneakers while the lovebirds went on a boat ride of Sydney Harbour on in 2018, during the opening celebrations of the games.
Veja is all about creating environmentally-friendly sneakers and having a positive impact through each stage of the production process. The brand also sells vegan footwear.

Daniella Draper
On Prince William and Kate's royal tour of Ireland in March, the mom of three showcased her lucky style by wearing the Daniella Draper Gold Mini Cupid Hoops With Baby Shamrock Charms and Baby Shamrock Necklace to multiple royal engagements.
Daniella Draper's mission statement reads:
"The inspiration we take from the natural world comes with an inherent responsibility to preserve & protect it.
"As a brand and as a family, this ambition is integral in our work to create authentic designs with care, craft and purpose.
"Being open about this commitment to sustainability is celebrated in the everyday efforts many of us already take to do our bit. Transparency on this journey is everything."
The company produces its designs responsibly in England and uses recycled gold and Ecosilver, traceable and audited alternatives to the virgin metal.

Daniella Draper
As she promoted her "5 big questions on the under 5s" survey in a whirlwind 24-hour tour in January, Kate kept her children close with a Daniella Draper necklace.
She wore the responsibly-made Personalized Gold Midnight Moon Necklace, featuring Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis's initials!

Reformation
Duchess Meghan sported a striped linen dress from Reformation on a trip to Fraser Island during her and Prince Harry's 16-day royal tour in 2018.
Reformation has an inclusive design philosophy and sustainable practices.
Since 2015, the company's products have been deemed water-neutral and it has been carbon-neutral since the same year.
Additionally, Reformation has invested in green infrastructure to minimize its ecological footprint.
