At the 2019 Chelsea Flower Show, Duchess Kate proved she definitely had a green thumb when she created her beautiful Back to Nature Garden for the annual London event.

In celebration of the 2020 Chelsea Flower Show, which is happening digitally because of the coronavirus pandemic, Kensington Palace shared a never-before-seen image on Instagram of the Duchess of Cambridge hard at work in her gorgeous garden.

"One year on from The Duchess of Cambridge's #BackToNature Garden, the Chelsea Flower Show is going digital!" began the post.

The Instagram encouraged users to virtually visit the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Chelsea Flower Show's exhibition this year for tips from their gardening experts on how we can transform our gardens.

"Visit @The_RHS to join the virtual #ChelseaFlowerShow for practical gardening advice from world-leading designers and experts all from the comfort of your own home," the post continued.

It ended by highlighting the intention of the mom of three's successful Back to Nature Garden from last year.

"The Duchess’s Back to Nature Garden in 2019 aimed to highlight the physical and mental health benefits of the natural world and inspire children, families, and communities to enjoy the great outdoors," the post concluded.

The included image showed Kate at work in the middle of her garden. The duchess appeared dressed down in blue jeans and a casual grey blouse with coordinating sneakers. And she was wearing her gardening gloves! Her brunette hair was pulled back into a soft ponytail.

Kate was busy taking a plant from another gardener, and no doubt had the perfect spot for it.

Duchess Kate's Back to Nature Garden at the 2019 Chelsea Flower got a wonderful reception. During the show, she gave Prince William and the Queen a tour of the completed oasis and even brought Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to enjoy it.

In March, the Royal Horticultural Society said the 2020 Chelsea Flower Show, which was originally set to take place from May 19-23, was cancelled due to COVID-19. But, it was later decided that the event would go ahead in a new digital format over the original time period, with May 18 serving as press day.

The Chelsea Flower Show is one of the Royal Family's favourite events, and Her Majesty has attended the London show many times over the years.
