There is an adorable new addition to James Middleton's family: a puppy named Nala!
Duchess Kate's brother shared the exciting news on his Instagram on May 25.
"Introducing Nala Middleton," he wrote, adding red heart and paw print emojis.
The 33-year-old continued that the little pooch is related to other dogs in his brood, and he looks forward to all the memories they will create.
"She is daughter of Zulu & granddaughter of Ella," he said. "I cannot wait to share many adventures with her and the rest of the pack."
James is a self-confessed "dog dad," and Nala joins previously mentioned Ella and Zulu, along with Inka, Luna and Mabel. His dog pack mostly consists of black Spaniels, with the exception of Mabel, who is a Golden Retriever.
Alizee Thevenet's fiancé shared three sweet photos of little Nala on Instagram. She has a soft brown coat and big green eyes.
In the first photo, Nala looked lovingly at the camera. In the second image, she snuggled up to someone wearing a green sweater, perhaps Alizee, that brought out the pooch's lovely green eyes. The final picture of Nala showed her sitting obediently on a green blanket or towel. What a good girl!
Commenters were charmed by the new addition to James's viral dog family. They wished him congratulations and complimented him on Nala's sweetness.
In the post, James added a P.S. that teased "more very exciting news to share soon." He didn't divulge any further details, but it could have something to do with his passion for dogs and mental health.
In February, it was reported the youngest Middleton was set to work on a project, tentatively titled James Middleton's Super Dogs, which would further explore how canines can help with mental wellness.
He is also an ambassador and volunteer for Pets as Therapy (PAT), and recently spoke with the organization's National Volunteer & Events Manager Matt Robinson about how pets can help with mental health. In the virtual discussion, James shared his personal experiences.

Barking Heads are supporting PAT during this Mental Health Awareness week, members of their wonderful team have pledged to fundraise on behalf of PAT…
