There are even more wagging tails in James Middleton's house! Last week, he revealed there was an adorable new addition to his four-legged family, a puppy named Nala.
On May 31, Duchess Kate's brother announced the little pup will have some friends to play with, because one of his other dogs, Luna, had given birth!

6 little friends for Nala to play with . A week ago Luna had three little pups at 5am, but we had to rush to the vets for an emergency c-section where another four pups were delivered. Sadly one didn’t make it but there are six healthy little pups suckling away happy as can be . They all have lovely homes waiting for them and I will be donating all the money from the sale of the pups to @petsastherapy_uk
"6 little friends for Nala to play with," James began on Instagram.
He added a paw print emoji and uploaded heartwarming photos and a video of the litter. The first was a video of the puppies feeding, with a version of "Puppy Love" edited into the clip!
The second photo showed proud mom Luna nestled next to her little ones. The next image highlighted the incredible gradation of colours from the litter. Luna, who is a black Spaniel, gave birth to two light brown dogs, a chocolate brown one and three pooches with black coats.
Finally, the last photo captured Luna stretched out by herself with her belly on display.
"A week ago Luna had three little pups at 5am, but we had to rush to the vets for an emergency c-section where another four pups were delivered," James stated on Instagram. "Sadly one didn’t make it but there are six healthy little pups suckling away happy as can be."
The 33-year-old stated that in addition to Nala having some playmates, the new puppies will help support Pets As Therapy (PAT).
"They all have lovely homes waiting for them and I will be donating all the money from the sale of the pups to @petsastherapy_uk," he concluded.
James serves as an ambassador and volunteer for Pets As Therapy. He recently spoke with the organization's National Volunteer & Events Manager Matt Robinson about how pets can help with mental health. In the virtual discussion, James shared his personal experiences about how his dogs have positively impacted him.

As ambassador to Pets As Therapy and as a PAT volunteer myself, I am delighted to be able to help support this amazing charity throughout this unprecedented time. I will be going live along with PAT’s National Volunteer & Events Manager Matt Robinson at 6.30pm on Thursday 21st May on my channel @jmidy and the Barking Heads channel @barkingheads We’ll discuss how PAT volunteers across the UK help those struggling with Mental Health as well as how my own dogs have and continue to help me. It would be fantastic if you could donate whatever you can afford to help PAT continue to provide its wonderful services… please see the campaign link in my bio. Barking Heads are supporting PAT during this Mental Health Awareness week, members of their wonderful team have pledged to fundraise on behalf of PAT…
Puppy Nala brings James's dog total to six. And she is related to other members of his furry family.
"She is daughter of Zulu & granddaughter of Ella," James explained on Instagram when he introduced the green-eyed dog. "I cannot wait to share many adventures with her and the rest of the pack."
James is a self-confessed "dog dad," and Nala joins previously mentioned Luna, Ella and Zulu, along with Inka and Mabel. His Instagram-famous dog pack mostly consists of black Spaniels, with the exception of Mabel, who is a Golden Retriever.
