This was the first time the five-year-old royal twins have been at a royal engagement since the coronavirus pandemic. The Monaco royals appeared on the balcony of Prince's Palace, the official residence of the family, to take in the annual St. John's Day Festival.
According to HELLO! UK, the festival takes place over two days – June 23 and June 24. The celebration featured a bonfire and dancers performing in traditional dress.
Jacques looked like a miniature version of his father in a navy suit with a light-coloured button-down.
Princess Charlene oozed elegance in a dark dress complete with buttons and a smocked waist. Her blonde hair was styled in a sophisticated braided updo, and her beauty look was completed with a swipe of red lipstick.
Princess Gabriella looked as sweet as can be in a white dress with frilled sleeves. Her cute look was accessorized with a white headband with flower and feather detail.
Prince Albert and his wife were last seen in public as they mourned the loss of Baroness Elisabeth-Anne de Massy, Albert’s first cousin, on June 17. The Monaco royals wore black masks in light of COVID-19.
Royal fans were treated to a previous balcony appearance by the Monaco royal twins in January 2020. The royals took to the palace balcony to take in the Sainte Devote celebrations, which is a national holiday honouring Saint Devote, the patron saint of the Grimaldi family. Jacques and Gabriella adorably wore sunglasses for the appearance!
