The Queen attends christenings of Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall's sons

The Royal Family celebrated a joyous first over the weekend as Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall's sons August and Lucas were baptized at Windsor.

The Queen was able to attend the event, which was held at the Royal Chapel of All Saints. That's lovely news for the whole family, considering Her Majesty pulled out of her Remembrance Sunday appearance last week due to a back sprain and cancelled several engagements last month after spending a night in hospital and being advised by doctors to rest.

Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank and Zara and Mike Tindall welcomed August and Lucas in February and March, respectively. Eugenie and Jack named their little boy in honour of Prince Albert, Queen Victoria's husband and consort, along with Prince Philip and one of Jack's ancestors. Lucas also carries the middle name Philip in honour of his late great-grandfather.

It's been a year full of royal babies for the family so far. Eugenie's sister, Princess Beatrice, welcomed a daughter named Sienna with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in September, while Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry also had a daughter, Lilibet, in June.

It's thought Beatrice and Edoardo didn't opt to christen Sienna along with her cousin and first cousin once removed due to the little one only being two months old. In the past, royal babies have been baptized at three or four months old. Sarah Ferguson, Beatrice and Eugenie's mother, christened them at four and nine months of age, respectively.

Of course, with COVID-19 still being an issue, the family could also have opted to have a smaller, more intimate event to play it safe and follow U.K. rules. While capacity limits in England no longer apply, cases are rising in England and they may have decided to be a bit more cautious as a result.

It's not known whether Meghan and Harry have baptized Lilibet, but given their home being in California now, they may have chosen to do so privately.

Congratulations to Eugenie, Zara and the whole family!
