Prince William and his pregnant wife Kate Middleton, who is due to give birth any day now to the royal baby, are "a very strong team", according to Christine Hill, the antenatal guru who has helped prepare Kate during her pregnancy. The Duchess of Cambridge visited Christine, an experienced paediatric and obstetric physiotherapist, twice while she was pregnant, to seek words of advice and medical information. "Kate is a delightful girl," Christine told The Telegraph. "What you see is what you get." She then went on to give the mother-to-be some tips about pregnancy.

On one of the visits, Prince William accompanied his wife and took in Christine's own words of wisdom too. After observing the royal couple, Christine could conclude that Prince William and Kate are "a very strong team," and that she imagined the father-to-be would provide all the support his wife needed when Kate goes into labour. "Prince William will be doing the right stuff on the day," said Christine.Prince William recently cast doubts over Kate's reported due date when he attended a charity polo match the day after she was expected to give birth. The prince travelled 100km away from St Mary's Hospital, where Kate is due to deliver, to play polo in Gloucestershire. It was unlikely Prince William would leave his wife's side at such a critical time in her pregnancy, as the young royal has previously said he would make it to the delivery suite in the private Lindo Wing "by hook or by crook".

Many of Prince William and Kate's close friends and family have praised the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and have faith that the soon-to-be parents will do a good job. "They will make great parents," said Peter Phillips, Prince William's cousin and father-of-two. "It's great to be able to welcome another child into the family, if not from a selfish perspective for my two girls to be able to grow up with a playmate. "The royal couple's university friend, Jules Knight, agreed and said they would make "fantastic parents" on a previous occasion. "They are lovely people," said Jules. " I think they'll be fantastic parents. They are very good for the country, for the monarchy and they are fantastic as a couple."
