While the festivities were in celebration of Queen Margrethe reaching the milestone age of 75, the evening was as much about future generations of the Danish royal family. Mary and Frederik's eldest children, including future king Prince Christian, walked the red carpet with their parents, as did Prince Joachim's eldest sons Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix.Holding on to her mum's hand, seven-year-old Princess Isabella showed off a sweet pink sleeveless dress, which she teamed with black tights and patent shoes. The youngster's elder brother Christian, nine, looked smart in a navy suit and polished black shoes that matched his father's.
