The Swedish royal family were out in force on Saturday to see Prince Carl Philip tie the knot with Sofia Hellqvist. The groom's proud parents King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia beamed with pride as they stepped out in the Stockholm sunshine to see their only son say "I do" in the royal chapel.

Crown Princess Victoria arrived with her husband Prince Daniel while their three-year-old daughter Princess Estelle was busy elsewhere preparing for her special role as ring bearer for Carl Philip and his bride.
Despite being due to give birth to her second child any day now, Princess Madeleine attended the happy occasion accompanied by her husband Chris O'Neill and their daughter Princess Leonore.
