It's been a week since Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank announced their plans to marry, and to celebrate the happy couple headed to the exclusive Arts Club in Mayfair on Monday night. They were joined by their close family and friends, including the bride-to-be's sister, Princess Beatrice. Wrapped up warm in a black tweed style jacket, the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson beamed with delight as she left the iconic venue alongside her fiancé.

Like her sister, Beatrice opted for muted tones, wearing a simple navy dress with black studded boots and a chic grey overcoat. Eugenie, 27, also showed off her stunning engagement ring, containing a padparadscha sapphire surrounded by diamonds. The Princess became engaged earlier this month, with Buckingham Palace announcing the news last Monday. The palace confirmed that the wedding will take place in the autumn of 2018 at St George's Chapel in Windsor - the same venue that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have chosen for their royal wedding in May.

The young royal began dating Jack around seven years ago, after they met while skiing in the Swiss resort of Verbier. It was recently reported that the couple were hoping to tie the knot as soon as possible, but they have to now delay their big day until October. According to MailOnline, other members of the royal family have already made commitments in the run-up to the wedding.

"Eugenie and Jack are keen to tie the knot quite quickly, and there certainly wouldn't be any issue as regards the booking of the chapel given who her grandmother is," a royal source told the publication. "But the issue is that some members of the Royal Family already have commitments in the diary." The insider added: "There is nothing concrete yet, but it looks as if Eugenie and Jack will go for October instead." Eugenie is the second daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, and currently eighth in line to the throne. She will keep her royal title when she marries Jack, and will have the option to take his surname.
