<p>The <em>American Idol</em> alum and music producer are reportedly expecting their first child together!
<p>Photos emerged on Oct. 8 of the couple out allegedly shopping for baby supplies with the singer appearing to showcase a baby bump.
<p>Neither one has publicly confirmed they are expecting as of this writing, but it was believed that Katharine strongly hinted at the pregnancy when she sang "She Used to Be Mine" from the musical <em>Waitress</em> at GLOW 2020 earlier in the month. During <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4E25GUk_02I&feature=emb_logo" target="_blank">the performance</a>, the 36-year-old touched her stomach as she sang "and the life that's inside her, growing stronger every."
<p>This will be the first child for Katharine. David has five grown daughters from previous relationships, including <strong>Sara</strong>, 39, <strong>Erin</strong>, 38, and <strong>Jordan</strong>, 34, whom he shares with second wife <strong>Rebecca Dyer</strong>, plus, <strong>Amy</strong>, 46, whom he shares with <strong>B.J. Cook</strong>, and <strong>Allison</strong>, 50.
<p>David and Katharine met when she was a contestant on <em>American Idol</em> in 2006 and he served as a mentor.
<p>Romance rumours began in May 2017. A few months later, they made red carpet appearances together. The couple was engaged in July 2018 in Italy and wed in June 2019 at the Church of Saint Yeghiche in London.

<h2>Mindy Kaling</h2>
<p>It's a boy! <a href=/tags/0/mindy-kaling><strong>Mindy Kaling</strong></a> surprised fans when she revealed on Oct. 8 that she had given birth to a baby boy, named <strong>Spencer</strong> during <a href=/tags/0/COVID-19><strong>COVID-19</strong></a>.
<p>"I'm telling it for the first time now, it feels so strange. But, I gave birth to a baby boy on September 3," the actress said during a virtual appearance on <em>The Late Show with Stephen Colbert</em>.
<p>Mindy never confirmed that she was expecting and she was able to keep her pregnancy quiet because of the <a href=/tags/0/coronavirus><strong>coronavirus</strong></a> pandemic and isolating.
<p>Mindy is also mom to <strong>Katherine</strong>, whom she calls Kit. The star never revealed that she was expecting her daughter, either, but stated she gave birth to her in December 2017.
<p>The 41-year-old has chosen not to disclose the father's identity of both children.

Celebrity babies born in 2020

<h2>Shirley Douglas – April 5</h2>
<p>The veteran actress, who was <strong><a href=/tags/0/kiefer-sutherland>Kiefer Sutherland</a></strong>'s mother and was married to <strong><a href=/tags/0/donald-sutherland>Donald Sutherland</a></strong> from 1966-1970, passed away at age 86 on April 5.
<p>Kiefer announced his mother's death late that day, saying she had passed away due to complications from pneumonia, but stressed her illness was not as a result of COVID-19.
<p>"She had been battling her health for quite some time and we, as a family, knew this day was coming," he tweeted.
<p>Shirley was born in Weyburn, Sask. in 1934. She was the daughter of Canadian health care pioneer <strong>Tommy Douglas</strong> and <strong>Irma Dempsey</strong>. Her father was also the first leader of Canada's New Democratic Party.
<p>She was interested in acting from an early age, and attended the Banff School of Fine Arts until she was 16. Her career took off in 1952, when she graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England and began performing there.
<p>Upon returning to Canada in 1957, she captured several key roles. She worked with director <strong>Stanley Kubrick</strong> on <I>Lolita</I>, portrayed <Strong>Nellie McClung</strong> in CBC's <I>Wind at My Back</I> series and also had a strong stage career, with parts in <I>The Glass Menagerie</I> and <I>The Vagina Monologues</I>, among other plays.
<p>In addition to her acting work, she was also a passionate social justice advocate. When she married Douglas, the two moved to California and she got involved in the civil rights movement and fundraised for immigrants and women. She continued her father's legacy by advocating for health care and health care reform in Canada throughout her life.
<p>She was named an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2003 for her acting and advocacy.
<p>Unfortunately, Shirley's health declined in recent years. In 2009, she was suffering from a degenerative spine condition that left her in severe pain and needing to use a wheelchair.

<h2>Pamela Anderson and Jon Peters</h2>
<p>Talk about rekindling an old flame! <strong><a href=/tags/0/pamela-anderson>Pamela Anderson</a></strong> and <I>A Star is Born</I> producer <strong>Jon Peters</strong> just got married!
<p>The former <I>Baywatch</I> star and Jon, who dated 30 years ago, reportedly tied the knot on Jan. 20, according to <i><a href=https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/pamela-anderson-marries-movie-mogul-jon-peters-secret-ceremony-1271622?>The Hollywood Reporter</i></a>. The publication says the two reunited a few months ago and have been successfully keeping their relationship out of the press until now.
<p>"There are beautiful girls everywhere," Jon told the publication. "I could have my pick, but - for 35 years - I've only wanted Pamela. She makes me wild - in a good way. She inspires me. I protect her and treat her the way she deserves to be treated."
<p>We're happy to hear the two have found love together! Both have been married five times. Pamela has some very famous ex-husbands, including <strong>Motley True</strong> drummer <strong>Tommy Lee</strong> and <strong>Kid Rock</strong>.
