Emily Nash

Royal Editor

I’ve been a journalist for 21 years, spending a decade working as a news reporter on national newspapers before specialising in the royal family and joining Hello! in 2013.

As royal editor, I have covered the birth of ten royal babies, four royal weddings and the funeral of the late Duke of Edinburgh. I was inside Westminster Abbey for both the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

I’ve travelled across five continents on tour with the late Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, King Charles and Queen Camilla, the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. I have also interviewed several members of the royal family, including Prince Harry, the Duchess of Edinburgh and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York.

As a trusted subject expert, I’m a regular commentator on UK and International TV and radio. I also appear on and help to produce HELLO!’s A Right Royal Podcast alongside my colleagues Andrea Caamano and Emmy Griffiths.

I was born in Cardiff, where I went to a local comprehensive, then studied French and Italian at Oxford University, before postgraduate training at Cardiff School of Journalism. I love my job – it’s a huge privilege to help people to share their stories and experiences.
