Toronto Fashion Week: Fashion Saturday gives consumers an inside look

While Toronto’s World Mastercard Fashion Week is generally attended by fashion insiders and local celebrities, there’s something new and equal-opportunity on the calendar this year: Fashion Saturday.

The unprecedented event comes on the final day of fashion week, offering three chances to see a series of fashion shows with looks from the collections. The cost to attend is $75, which buys unprecedented consumer access to Toronto’s most exclusive fashion event.

Fashion Saturday runway shows offer an edited collection of designs from fashion week, including those by brands Beaufille, Joe Fresh, David Dixon and Caitlin Power. An accompanying pop-up market offers local and Canadian designs available for purchase on the spot.

Rounding out the day, DJs will take to the turntables, beauty demos will be on hand and guests can mingle, nibble and sip cocktails (just like in the tents at the shows!).

Fashion Saturday takes place on October 26 in the tent at David Pecaut Square.
