After a chance meeting at a festival, a long-distance relationship and a five-year engagement, HELLO! Online readers Ceri Evans and Noel Williams finally tied the knot Ceri and Noel's whirlwind relationship began 11 years ago when Ceri's older brother introduced her to his band mates. Deciding that it wasn't their time then, Ceri went to university and Noel pursued his career. A chance meeting at a small farm festival brought the two together again. "It felt like fate," said Ceri, and the couple fell head over heels in love.

One Christmas she found a non-descriptive box among a pile of her gifts, and inside one was a ring. "I was shocked but there was no hesitation in my acceptance, it felt right," she said. After a five-year engagement, Noel and Ceri finally tied the knot on 1 March 2013 . "It always seemed like it was meant to be," said Ceri. "It just needed to be left to fate to decide when and where it would come together. I'm so happy that everything happened the way it did as it made us who we are — better people and a better couple, and I couldn't imagine my life without him now." The bride Ceri was picture perfect on her wedding day, with a look that embodied her own personal taste and comfort. "I wanted to look like me," she said. "I didn't want to look like a Princess or be uncomfortable."

As a lingerie designer, Ceri was drawn to the idea of a dress with intricate lace and embroidery. The exquisite dress was bought in a Chester store, off the rack, and was designed by Allure Couture. "I loved that it wasn’t too big, no embellishment, just simply beautiful fabric in a 'gown' style silhouette," she said. The dress created from an all-over lace applique showed off her slim silhouette. The stunning gown is a two-piece dress with was Guipure Embroidery and had a charmeuse slip beneath. Ceri looked enchanting as the train of the dress glided along the aisle of the church while friends and family watched in awe.

Ceri wore her hair down with 2 plaits woven into the front with some gypsophila dotted to the sides, which really stood out when the veil was removed. As Ceri's something old, she wore a bracelet which was given to her by her mother before the wedding and added Swarovski earrings to compliment the glamour of her dress. The ceremony Noel and Ceri wed in the church where Ceri's mother and father were married, Gwersyllt Church in North Wales. "This was important to me as it has a lot of memories," she said. "My parents were married there and me and my siblings were baptised in this Church."

The happy couple decided to get married on St. David's day as it had a special meaning to them. Although it was a chilly day, the atmosphere brought warmth throughout. The ceremony was intimate with the couple reciting their nuptials among close friends and family, as the Brymbo Male Choir sang throughout the service. Noel and Ceri shared a romantic kiss as the ceremony ended and they were pronounced man and wife.

The reception After their vows they travelled in a vintage-style Rover90 minivan to the reception, held in a quaint character-oozing pub, The Boat Inn, in Wrexham. "We had always wanted a casual, intimate and mainly relaxed celebration with our family and friends, so The Boat Inn was perfect," said Ceri. "The old-fashioned pub steeped in history and charisma looked warm, inviting and the staff were fantastic as always."

Friends and family received quirky reception invitations in the form of concert tickets in keeping with the couple's love of music. A live acoustic set provided a charmingly romantic atmosphere, and guests drank champagne and danced around surrounded by musical-paper confetti. The band played a mixture of Ceri and Noel's favourite music, from Bob Marley and The Beatles to The Stone Roses and The Stands. The couple were overcome with happiness as they enjoyed their first dance to The Stone Roses' 10 Storey Love Song.

"We had a lot of sentimental touches," said Ceri. "I wanted Blue Moon Roses to remind me of my grandfather and Noel wanted snowdrops to remind him of his mother. Small personal details like this were important to us." "It was all a mixture of our eclectic taste but on the day all married well together, no pun intended," she said.
